Toledo

Bargas es un municipio español de la provincia de Toledo, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha. Está situado a unos 10 kilómetros al norte de la capital autonómica y al sur de la comarca castellana de La Sagra.

El término municipal ocupa una superficie de 89,48 km² y está atravesado por el río Guadarrama de noreste a suroeste. Es el cuarto municipio más poblado de La Sagra toledana con 10 535 habitantes (INE 2020), por detrás de Illescas, Seseña y Yuncos. Bargas experimentó un notable ascenso de población a comienzos del siglo XXI debido a la expansión de las áreas metropolitanas de Toledo y Madrid. La densidad de población es de 111,78 hab./km².
